Possibly because it's been demolished. It lives on for a while in the drive-by view.

Note the cheapness of the sign. Those two meaningless globes were common in the early 70s. Perhaps they were supposed to connote balloon-related notions of fun. But no one ever looked at them and thought "fun." You thought "it's the early 70s, and a shabby false gaeity suffuses so much of this weary culture."

Well, maybe not in so many words.
